Three-time NBA champion Danny Green was recently a guest on the “All the Smoke” podcast with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson and the former NBA guard was asked to talk about the GOAT debate between Michael Jordan, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant

Green said Jordan is his GOAT, James has had the greatest career and Bryant is the most skilled.

Jordan, James and Bryant are three of the greatest players in NBA history. The three basketball icons have combined to win 10 MVPs, 15 championships and 12 Finals MVPs.

Jordan won five MVPs, six championships, six Finals MVPs, 10 scoring titles and one Defensive Player of the Year Award with the Chicago Bulls. He went 6-0 in the NBA Finals.

Bryant, who tragically passed away in 2020, won one MVP, five championships and two Finals MVPs with the Los Angeles Lakers. He went 5-2 in the NBA Finals.

Finally, James is a four-time MVP, a four-time champion and a four-time Finals MVP with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Lakers. He’s 4-6 in the NBA Finals.

Jordan averaged 30.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 2.3 steals and 0.8 blocks with the Bulls and Washington Wizards. He’s first in NBA history in points per game in the regular season and playoffs and fifth in points.

Bryant spent his entire career with the Lakers. He averaged 25.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.5 blocks. Bryant is fourth in NBA history in points.

Finally, James has career averages of 27.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 7.4 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.7 blocks. He’s the leading scorer of all time and the only player in NBA history to rank top five all-time in points and assists.
