Earlier this week, the Los Angeles Clippers looked like they were headed to the playoffs. They had a 1.5-game lead over the Blazers for the No.8 seed, they were in the midst of a five-game winning streak, and Kawhi Leonard and Darius Garland were playing out of their minds. After two consecutive losses to Portland and San Antonio, the Clippers have made things difficult for themselves in their playoff pursuit.

More importantly, however, Garland has struggled immensely in back-to-back games. After shooting 7/17 for 20 points, four assists, and five turnovers against the Blazers on Tuesday, Garland followed that up with 5/17 from the field and 1/8 from three against the Spurs. The 26-year-old point guard finished with 11 points and three assists in 29 minutes of action for his worst game as a Clipper. In the last two games, the Clippers were a disappointing -26 when Garland was on the floor.

After the game, Garland left without speaking to reporters once again, per Clippers insider
