Dejounte Murray game-winner beats Magic, again

Two months ago, Dejounte Murray beat the Orlando Magic with a game-winner in Mexico City. Wednesday night, he did it again.

With Markelle Fultz playing tough defense, Murray rose up for a buzzer-beating 19-footer to give the Atlanta Hawks a 106-104 win. On a night where Jalen Suggs held Trae Young to 18 points on 5-for-14 shooting and pressured him into eight turnovers, Murray stepped up for a team-high 26 points.

He also stepped up when the two teams met in Mexico City on Nov. 9. With less than a minute to go, Young found Murray with an acrobatic pass and he hit a three-pointer that put the Hawks up for good.

Murray moved to 4-1 lifetime against fellow Seattle product Paolo Banchero, who tied the game with a clutch three-pointer with nine seconds left.

The Hawks are still 4.5 games back of the Magic in the Southeast Division. But in the Pacific Northwest, Murray still has bragging rights over Banchero.
