Denver Nuggets-Tim Hardaway Jr. Agree On 1-Year Deal

The Denver Nuggets and sharpshooter Tim Hardaway Jr. agreed to a one-year contract on Tuesday afternoon. The contract details are unknown at the time of publication. He averaged 11 points. 2.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists during the 2024-25 regular season with the Detroit Pistons. How will Hardaway Jr. fit with the Denver Nuggets?

It has been a busy start to NBA Free Agency for the Denver Nuggets. They acquired Cam Johnson in a trade. They also signed Bruce Brown and Jonas Valanciunas. Denver had a difficult regular season. They fired Head Coach Mike Malone late in the regular season. The Nuggets went on to lose in seven games to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the second round.

Denver has done a great job over the last few days building around star Center Nikola Jokic . Hardaway Jr. will play alongside Point Guard Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon. These moves should make the Nuggets one of the favorites to come out of the Western Conference.

Final Thoughts

Hardaway Jr. will improve Denver’s bench unit next season. His great shooting will give the Nuggets another dimension to their offense. Denver shot the fewest three-pointers in the league this past season. It has been a dream start to the offseason for the Denver Nuggets. Now, the hard work comes. They must live up to it on the hardwood.
