Devin Booker closing in on Suns history, how his tenure matches up with Walter Davis

After 10 years with the franchise, through high highs and low lows, Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker will officially cement his name into the history books as he closes in on passing Walter Davis for first on the Suns’ all-time scoring list.

Booker (15,644) sits 23 points shy of passing Davis (15,666) as Phoenix takes on the Portland Trail Blazers Monday night. Booker has not only made himself an icon on the court, but in the Valley as well. The No. 1 jersey is a staple in Arizona.

  • Davis was drafted 5th overall in 1977 and spent 11 seasons with the Suns before leaving Phoenix in free agency for the Denver Nuggets in 1988.
