While watching the exhilarating matchup between Team USA and Team World from his courtside seat, Obama’s enjoyment nearly turned into chaos when Nikola Jokic charged toward the sidelines.

In a split-second move, Booker heroically shoved Jokic aside, ensuring the safety of Barack and Michelle Obama. This incredible act was captured on camera and quickly went viral, with Booker embracing his newfound “Secret Service” status.

“Secret service,” Booker wrote on Instagram.

Booker, who recently vowed to represent Phoenix the right way, was so involved in the moment that he did not care about Jokic after shoving him. Instead, the 29-year-old star dapped with Obama.

“This one hurt a little bit. I wanted this one bad. Wish I was defending it in Phoenix but it’ll probably be the last time I do it next year if I get the invite. I’m looking forward to it,” Booker said (via Duane Rankin).
