LOS ANGELES — Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker flirted with a triple-double Sunday night as his team, the USA Stars, captured the 2026 All-Star Game trophy.

The 75th NBA All-Star Game featured the league’s brightest talent, with Booker earning his fifth selection in his 11-year career. While the exhibition is often viewed as lighthearted, the Suns’ star proved competitive until the final buzzer.

The USA Stars advanced to the finals to face the USA Stripes, led by LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Jalen Brunson. Surrounded by young standouts such as Anthony Edwards and Tyrese Maxey, Booker filled the stat sheet with 12 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, narrowly missing a triple-double.

Despite Booker’s well-rounded performance, Edwards took home the MVP award. Still, the Suns guard showcased his value as a team-first presence throughout the game.

Phoenix has long relied on Booker’s scoring ability, especially in the mid-range. What separates him from many other stars, however, is how he elevates his team in multiple ways. Whether crashing the glass or setting up teammates, Booker consistently does what is needed to win.

He displayed that same versatility on the national stage in Los Angeles. While Edwards will be remembered as the game’s headliner, Booker’s impact was equally important to the USA Stars’ success in the annual showcase.

With All-Star Weekend now complete, attention turns to 2027, when Phoenix is set to host the next NBA All-Star festivities in the Valley.
