Dillon Brooks fined for dodging media, has no regrets over LeBron comments

Dillon Brooks and the Memphis Grizzlies talked a big game in their series against the Los Angeles Lakers, and all it got them was a lot of embarrassment and a fine after a 4-2 series loss.

Worst of all, Brooks does not even regret some of the comments he made about Lakers superstar LeBron James.

The NBA announced on Sunday that Brooks was fined $25,000 after violating the league's media access policies in the playoffs. Brooks refused to speak to the media after all three games in Los Angeles, including the series-ending loss in Game 6 on Friday.

Brooks kept dodging the media after he made comments about James following Game 2 of the series, calling him old and saying that he likes to "poke bears."

Well, the bear was certainly poked and James made it his mission to embarrass Brooks and the Grizzlies. He did, both during and after the series. James finally responded on social media on Saturday by quoting Jay-Z lyrics on Twitter and posting an image on Instagram with a caption about how if you ever see him fighting Grizzly bears, you should help the bear.

One might think given the embarrassment Brooks and the Grizzlies took on the floor, and the fine that he received, that he might have some regrets. He does not, and he made that very clear during the Grizzlies end-of-the-year media availability when he said he has no regrets because that is "who he is."
