Luka Doncic may be a Los Angeles Laker, but his love for the city of Dallas has not stopped. It’s been reported that Doncic made a $1.2K donation to a local Dallas high school for their soccer program.

Doncic sent a $1,200 GoFundMe donation to the Dallas Texans, a high school soccer team in Dallas. Sources say that the Texans were at around $3,800 of their $5,000 target when they suddenly received an email saying that the former Mavs superstar had donated the balance to get them on their way to reaching the target.

“The whole team came together to try and close the gap so these boys could stay on the field without worrying about the financial burden,” said Jena Fejeran, head coach of the team.

“We had raised about $3,800 of our $5,000 goal when I suddenly got an email saying our fundraiser had reached its goal. I logged in and saw a $1,200 donation from Luka.”

Doncic certainly has a love for the game of soccer, similar to his love for Dallas. Overall, Doncic is a kind-hearted person, as he recently donated $5,000 to help restore a vandalized mural in honor of the late Kobe and Gigi Bryant.

Doncic’s latest kind act of a $1.2K donation will see the Dallas Texans travel to Denver to play at the 2025 National Cup this July.
