The Cavs lost another close game this time to the hands of the more experienced Miami Heat. This isn't the first game Cleveland has dropped when it has come down to the wire.

One thing stood out to Cavaliers All-Star Donovan Mitchell at the end of this game and late in these close games. It all comes down to how Cleveland is executing. This is what Mitchell had to say:

"We're not executing well offensively. Whether it's a turnover or a bad shot you know we're not getting to our stuff quick enough and that's just on us. It starts with myself and (Darius Garland) putting us in the right position to go out there to make those plays. But we're just not executing and it's apparent you guys obviously see it from our record."

This lack of offensive production was pretty clear in the final few possessions. There was little organization in the plays which resulted in wild shots that didn't go in.

Mitchell also went on to talk about what a loss like this can do to a team:

"I think we're all kind of tired of coming in here and saying like we're learning. You know you want to learn through success in different ways and we haven't played well, that's just the honest truth and we have just got to find a way to do that."

Watch the rest of the postgame presser here:

Mitchell is one of the few players on the Cavs who have been in these tight, playoff-like games before. He continues to be a leader on the court and off the court and this answer proves this.

This kind of leadership is what will eventually push the Cavs over this hump.
