The Cleveland Cavaliers have clinched a playoff spot this year. Having landed James Harden in a blockbuster trade, things have looked quite rosy for the team. However, teaming up with Harden is none other than Donovan Mitchell. Forming a stellar duo, the 29-year-old has been a pillar for the team. Thus, his injury report is of utmost importance to the team.

Mitchell has been struggling with his groin this season. Thus, despite a strong showing against the Indiana Pacers, there were significant question marks on the 7-time NBA star’s availability. Thankfully for the fans, he is off the injury report and will likely play against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Currently, Cleveland has just four games left in their regular season. And they would want to get through them without any added woes. Ranked 11th in the west, the Grizzlies might look like an easy game. But in reality, Memphis does have the capability to upset the bigger teams.

Back on March 29, the Grizzlies pulled off an upset win against the Chicago Bulls. However, the Cavaliers can take heart from the fact that Memphis have lost four games back-to-back since then.

Meanwhile, with the focus solely on Mitchell, the Cleveland star had a huge injury scare against the Pacers.

Mitchell is already struggling in his personal sphere. Thus, the last thing he wants is to get injured and miss some crucial gametime. Playing against the Indiana Pacers, the 29-year-old torched his opponents, dropping 38 points.

But towards the end of the game, the 3-time NBA All-Star rolled his ankle and went down on the ground. Looking in severe pain, the fans had quite the scare. Luckily for them, the star player assured everyone that things are all fine with him. And he would remain fit to continue playing.
