Doug McDermott recently agreed to a one-year, $3.6 million deal to return to the Sacramento Kings. ESPN’s Shams Charania announced the news after representatives, Mark Bartelstein and Andy Shiffman of Priority Sports, told the 31-year-old.
McDermott will enter his 12th season in the NBA and his second in Sacramento. He previously signed a one-year deal with the Kings last season and shot 43.6% from three-point range in 42 games. He has played for seven teams since 2014.
