Draymond Green Drops Confident Prediction on Indiana Pacers vs. Boston Celtics East Finals
Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

Even though the Indiana Pacers are entering the Eastern Conference Finals as the underdogs, many NBA fans still think their showdown against the Boston Celtics is going to be an interesting one. For Draymond Green, though, there’s a clear winner that’s going to stand tall soon.

The Pacers entered the playoffs as the sixth seed in the East with a record of 47 wins and 35 losses . Fueled by the improvement of Tyrese Haliburton into an All-Star guard and the arrival of Pascal Siakam at the trade deadline, Indiana surprisingly went deep into the postseason by eliminating the Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks.

The Boston Celtics, on the other hand, enjoyed a dominant run during the regular season by capturing the best record in the NBA. Their playoff run so far has been equally strong as they eliminated a Jimmy Butler-less Miami Heat team and Donovan Mitchell’s Cleveland Cavaliers in five games, respectively. Even without Kristaps Porzingis, Boston is the clear favorite to win the East.

With both teams colliding against each other, fans will surely get an intriguing showdown in this series. In any case, both squads have their own set of advantages and disadvantages over the other as they vie to win the East within seven games.

Draymond Green Predicts Boston Celtics Will Win Over Indiana Pacers In Eastern Conference Finals

After Indiana advanced to the Conference Finals, a lot of takes were given about how this series will go down. Among those who shared their thoughts on the two teams is Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green in a video shared by ClutchPoints on X.

While some would argue against Green’s opinion, the fact remains Boston has a more talented lineup than the Pacers. One of the few advantages they have, though, is the absence of Kristaps Porzingis right now, which could help the tide turn in Indiana’s favor.

It remains to be seen whether Green’s prediction will come true or not. In any case, the coming days will surely be exciting for fans of both the Celtics and Pacers.
