Draymond Green Reacts to Massive Blown Lead vs. Clippers
© Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

Just a few games after blowing a big lead to the Sacramento Kings, the Golden State Warriors blew another big lead on Saturday, losing to the LA Clippers after leading by as many as 22 points. When asked about this after the game, Green was asked if this loss felt similar to the Sacramento loss.

"A loss is a loss," Green said. "... I don't think we did anything necessarily that bad [in the second half]. They made plays, James got going a bit, Kawhi got going a bit, PG got going a bit, they made plays."

While Green did not think the Warriors did anything too bad in the second half to allow this lead to slip, he did say their defense in the third quarter was not great, especially with the fouling. Allowing Harden, George, and Leonard to get going and also get rest while the game stops, the Warriors did not do a good job defending in the second half.

While this is a frustrating game for the Warriors, they will look to bounce back and take some of the positives from this one. Green was not too harsh on the Warriors in this answer, recognizing they got outplayed by a good Clippers team, but he does see some ways they could have been better.

The Warriors certainly have some work to do.
