The Golden State Warriors, a decade removed from winning their first title, remain in the mix for the Western Conference.
Still built around Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, the club is the No. 6 seed in the West, though the No. 4 through No. 8 seeds are separated by just a half-game.
Considering the season has just four games remaining on the schedule, having that tight-knit of a race is simply absurd.
Most recently, however, the Warriors suffered a 106-96 loss to the Houston Rockets, who are the No. 2 seed in the conference.
While defense was the core of the matchup from both sides, Curry, most notably, scored just three points while shooting 1-of-10 from the floor.
Sure, the one 3-pointer made helped the legendary guard pass Reggie Miller on the all-time scoring list, though Amen Thompson and the Rockets' defense on Curry were most certainly notable.
A talking point after the matchup was the physicality Curry endures on the perimeter with the lack of fouls called in his favor.
Of course, after the game, he and Green weren't too vocal regarding the topic, though Jimmy Butler rose to his defense.
Still, later on, Green took to "The Draymond Green Show" to reveal the real reason why the legendary guard gets no foul calls.
"He gets penalized because he is not a flopper… we reward flopping and flailing, and Steph [Curry] does neither," Green claimed.

Evidently, Green isn't off-base. Curry isn't often driving to the basket and receiving fouls in the fashion in which most players do, and he's not shamelessly flopping from the perimeter.
