For the first time since 2016, the NBA Finals will come down to a Game 7.
A winner-takes-all game to determine a series is always full of excitement, nerves, joy and heartbreak. That's going to be elevated as the Oklahoma City Thunder host the Indiana Pacers for a Game 7 of the NBA Finals.
There will be no shortage of theatrics as the two sides will battle to determine which franchise will hoist the Larry O'Brien this season.
The last Game 7 of the NBA Finals took place as the Cleveland Cavaliers completed their comeback after facing a 3-1 deficit to the Golden State Warriors.
Draymond Green, still active and hunting a fifth NBA championship with the Warriors, was a part of that game. This would be familiar territory for him.
Neither the Thunder nor the Pacers have been in this situation, though.
Green has a clear warning to Oklahoma City, which seemingly has more at stake with a potential win or loss. If they don't win this one, they likely won't at all with their current core, as Green signaled on "The Draymond Green Show."
"Pressure is all on [the Thunder]," Green said. "...I'll tell you this |[Bardon Davis], if OKC don't win this championship, they may never win a championship."
“If OKC doesn’t win this year… they may NEVER win a championship.”@Money23Green explains why the Thunder are in do-or-die mode — and what happens if they don’t finish the job.

Green cited that front offices, after falling short, typically make unnecessary tweaks that don't happen for a winning team.
The Thunder's young core is comprised of young stars. The expectation is that they'll have a championship window that is open for years.
The NBA is unforgiving, however. While Green might predict they won't win a championship because of faulty, unnecessary front office moves, that might not be the case.
There could be different reasons the Thunder doesn't make the NBA Finals again, though.
Oklahoma City has a chance to win a major Game 7 and raise the first banner in its history. They need to do it while they have a chance, because they might not get another.
