Dwyane Wade Sends Perfect Birthday Message to LeBron James

Dwyane Wade had a unique way of celebrating fellow NBA legend LeBron James on his special day.

As the Los Angeles Lakers star celebrates a major milestone, the retired Miami Heat icon knew exactly how to honor his friend on his 40th birthday.

In a playful social media post, the former Heat guard marked James' entry into the "40 club" with a witty birthday message.

While on a family vacation, Wade shared a photo featuring two goats along with a humorous caption quoting Lizzo’s hit song.

“It’s about damn time,” he wrote.

The 42-year-old NBA legend also welcomed the birthday boy with a cheerful shoutout, saying “Welcome to the 40 club.”

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade have been friends for years, so it's no surprise to see them poke fun at each other.

As fans would know, the two even teamed up back in 2010, when James joined the Miami Heat after leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers. They formed a "Big 3" along with fellow NBA legend Chris Bosh and ultimately won two NBA championships together.

In addition to Dwyane Wade's playful message, the Lakers star was also showered with heartfelt birthday wishes from his team.

Joined by his eldest son, Bronny James, and rookies Quincy Olivari, Dalton Knecht and Armel Traore, the team celebrated by singing a spirited (though off-key) rendition of "Happy Birthday" to mark the occasion.

The sweet gesture was enough to bring a smile to the NBA veteran's face.
