Erik Spoelstra: Heat don't care about people writing them off

Most fans and experts believe the NBA Finals are all but over, with the Lakers holding a commanding 3-1 lead over the Heat. Miami head coach Erik Spoelstra is well aware of the naysayers but made it abundantly that he does not care that anyone has written his team off.

Obviously, this is the attitude you would expect from a two-time champion and one of the best coaches in the NBA. He certainly was not going to come out and tell the media that the Heat know they're going to lose the series and don't even feel like playing Game 5. And to his credit, it's not like teams coming back from 3-1 is exactly unprecedented in these playoffs, with the Nuggets pulling it off twice against the Jazz and Nuggets just this postseason.

Still, it's impossible to deny things are looking bleak for the Heat. The Lakers have managed to finish off every opponent they've faced so far in five games, and LeBron James seems primed to go into God Mode in order to secure his fourth NBA title. With Goran Dragic still expected not to play, Los Angeles may have too much firepower for Miami to keep up, even with no shits left to give.
