On Tuesday night, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA Play-In Tournament.
With the win, they've officially clinched the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference and will take on the Houston Rockets in Round 1 of the NBA Playoffs.
The win ends a three-game losing streak for the Warriors in the Play-In Tournament.
Golden State had chances to avoid the Play-In, but dropped two of its last three games, including the season finale against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Stephen Curry helped shut the door late, but he was visibly bothered by his thumb injury. At times, he was seen on the bench wincing in pain.
Fortunately for the Warriors, they had Jimmy Butler, a.k.a. "Playoff Jimmy."
Butler lived up to the nickname, scoring 38 points, with seven rebounds and six assists.
He shot 12-for-20 from the field and 12-for-18 from the free-throw line.
"Jimmy has found ways to master getting to the free-throw line," said former NBA player Chandler Parsons. "Him, SGA, Harden, they have a gift of where they can initiate the offense. He doesn't need plays drawn up for him. He plays hard and plays the right way.
"They were dead last in free throws and 27th in free-throw percentage. They've jumped to third since the Butler trade. This was a heck of a game from Jimmy and it's exactly why the Warriors brought him here."

While the Warriors are -200 favorites, a 66.67% implied probability to defeat the Rockets, it won't be an easy series
They won't have home-court advantage, and Houston has so many players they can throw at you. Butler provides great defense as well as good offense, but he's going to have his hands full with Houston's plethora of perimeter talent.
