Golden State Warriors fans did not have the best experience this past season. The Warriors faithful—or at least the majority of them—were delighted after the team successfully brought in Jimmy Butler via a mid-season blockbuster trade.
The bold move paid dividends for the Warriors as Butler played a pivotal role in helping secure the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference. Golden State, however, came crashing out in the second round of the NBA playoffs courtesy of the Minnesota Timberwolves. This came after former back-to-back MVP Steph Curry suffered what turned out to be a season-ending hamstring injury.
It's going to be a very interesting offseason for the Warriors as they look to make some crucial personnel decisions ahead of the 2025-26 campaign. Right now, the priority would be to surround Curry with the most formidable squad possible as they look to challenge for the championship this coming season.
The fans will be keeping a close eye on whatever moves the Warriors' front office makes this summer. Younger supporters, on the other hand, have the opportunity to learn the game through the team's offseason offerings.
This includes the highly anticipated Overnight Camps, which are making a comeback this year. There are currently two overnight basketball camp sessions available for kids aged 9 to 16, which will be held on July 5 to 8 and on July 31 to Aug. 3.
Both camps will be held at Sephora Performance Center in Oakland and will feature multiple Warriors players as the camps' special guests. It was already announced previously that Brandin Podziemski and Trayce Jackson-Davis will feature in the first session.
The Warriors, via the Golden State Sports Academy, announced on Monday that incoming third-year forward Gui Santos will be the special guest for the second overnight camp.
"From to the Bay to now...Overnight Camp II HYPED to announce our special guest at our second overnight camp of the summer season, @guisantos_4" the post from GS Sports Academy wrote, which the Warriors shared via their Instagram story.

Santos is far from a star, but he was able to earn himself a relatively solid role in head coach Steve Kerr's rotation last season. In his second year with the Warriors, the 6-foot-8 power forward averaged 4.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 13.6 minutes per contest.
Santos should be able to provide camp participants with some excellent insight on his NBA journey, as well as share some of his skills and best practices with the kids who are looking to improve their game.
Registration is now open via the camp's official website, which is priced at $900 for the Extended Day Option and $1,200 for the Overnight Option.
