The 2024 NBA Draft is five weeks away.

The Toronto Raptors will have two picks to work with owning No. 19 via the Indiana Pacers and No. 31 via the Detroit Pistons.

There is a lot of speculation about who the Raptors will take with their first-round pick.

There are many different directions the Raptors can go in. They could take a big man, a guard or even a forward.

FanNation put out their latest mock draft and they project the Raptors taking big man Kel’el Ware out of Indiana.

During the 2023-24 season Ware averaged 15.9 points, 9.9 rebounds, 1.9 blocks, 1.5 assists on 60.9 percent shooting on twos and 42.5 percent shooting from three.

He’s listed at 6’11” without shoes with a 7’4″ wingspan. Ware is a high level athlete for a player with his size and he has good length while being able to protect the rim. He shot it very well from three on low volume, proving to have that skillset. He has nice footwork and touch around the basket with both hands and he has elite athleticism. His high-upside makes him a compelling prospect.

Ware does need to work on his strength going up against NBA bodies and he needs to switch better on defense. He’s also a poor free throw shooter.

Overall, he would be a young big man who the Raptors can develop. One who can space the floor which is something the team needs around Scottie Barnes.

Then at No. 31, FanNation has the Raptors snagging Carlton Carrington out of Pittsburgh. Carrington is an excellent passer and playmaker who can run the point guard position. He’s a dynamic guard who’s emerging as one of the fastest-rising prospects in this year’s draft. This would be a gift for Toronto at No. 31.

ESPN has Raptors taking Kyshawn George in latest mock draft

With the 19th pick of the 2024 NBA Draft, Jonathan Givony of ESPN has the Raptors adding some shooting help with Kyshawn George out of Miami.

George would help the Raptors three-point shooting, an area they desperately need to get better in.
