Fans React To LeBron James Becoming 4th In All-Time Assists: "Stacking Up The Accolades"
Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

LeBron James became 4th all-time in assists all-time after notching his 10th dime of the night against the New York Knicks.

LeBron James is having a history-making year even after all their struggles on the court. James is under 100 points away from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the all-time leading scorer position in the NBA and is bound to overtake him in the next week, provided he stays healthy.

In the Lakers' game against the New York Knicks, LeBron James notched a double-double with 10 assists. He crossed Knicks legend Mark Jackson for fifth place before also crossing Steve Nash to become the sole holder of 5th place with 10,377 assists over his career.

LBJ is now only trailing John Stockton, Jason Kidd, and Chris Paul in all-time assists. Considering those 3 players are the definition of a 'point God,' LBJ has truly established himself as one of the best floor readers in NBA history.

What's Left For LeBron James To Achieve In The NBA?

LeBron is over 800 assists behind Chris Paul, who is going to add to his assist totals every time he plays as well, so we can expect LeBron climbing up the assists list to slow down. Unless James plays 4 more years at his level, he won't be able to surpass Jason Kidd in second place on the list with over 1,700 assists more than LBJ.

The only thing James can chase at this point in his career is titles. He has done everything else possible. Many already look at him as the GOAT, and he can solidify that status by winning another championship or 2 before he has to retire. Hopefully, he can be in a championship-winning situation once again.
