Ahead of the 2025 WNBA Draft, much of the focus has been on projected No. 1 pick Paige Bueckers. However, another top prospect is making waves and gaining the attention of women's basketball fans as well.

The hype surrounding Bueckers is warranted. She has been the clear No. 1 choice for the 2025 draft ever since she decided to return to the UConn Huskies for the final year of her eligibility.

Sure enough, Bueckers' decision paid off, as she won a national championship and further established herself as an impactful player who can lead a team to a title.

Interestingly, after the Huskies standout, many continue to wonder who will go No. 2. During the NCAA Tournament, many were convinced that former Notre Dame guard Olivia Miles would land there. But, she decided to return to college and transfer to TCU.

On Saturday, though, top prospect Dominique Malonga had fans buzzing after her interview with sports personality Rachel DeMita. The 19-year-old from France is a candidate to be selected by the Seattle Storm with the No. 2 pick, and followers discovered the reason why.

SportsCenter NEXT posted DeMita's interview, during which the teenager revealed that NBA legend Tony Parker called her the "female Wemby"—in reference to San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama.

The post also included videos of Malonga dunking effortlessly. For those not in the know, she is 6-foot-6 and plays the forward/center position.

Unsurprisingly, several fans expressed disbelief after seeing what Dominique Malonga can do.

"Tallest 6’6 I’ve ever seen," a commenter wrote. Another one said, "Did she just spinmove into a dunk? I’ve seen enough."

A fan added, "So we just gon' ignore the spin dunk huh? She was smooth and fluent, and made it look effortless."

"Oh she gonna be the first WNBA player to have POSTERS!!" a hyped supporter exclaimed.

"Whoever is going to Draft her is getting a phenomenal blessing and BEAST on their team!" a fifth social media user remarked.

A poster further stated, "The W about to enter the Jordan era."

It remains to be seen where Malonga will actually end up being drafted, but sure enough, her highlights were enough to convince fans that she has a bright future in the league.

The 2025 WNBA Draft is scheduled for Monday at The Shed in New York City.
