The Philadelphia 76ers are on the road on Saturday night as they travel to take on the Charlotte Hornets in an Eastern Conference showdown.
Philadelphia enters Saturday’s game with a 40-33 record after defeating the Chicago Bulls at home on Wednesday night.
In Wednesday’s victory over the Bulls, Joel Embiid led the way for the 76ers as he recorded 35 points, six rebounds and seven assists while Paul George added 28 points, six rebounds and four assists of his own.
Now Philadelphia will try to grab another victory on Saturday as they face off against the Hornets in a tough road matchup.
On the other side, Charlotte enters Saturday’s contest with a 39-34 record after defeating the New York Knicks at home on Thursday night.
Kon Knueppel led the way for the Hornets in Thursday’s victory as he ended the game with 26 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists while LaMelo Ball recorded 22 points, five rebounds and six assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Saturday night’s matchup, one side may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
For the 76ers, they have two players listed on their injury report as they have listed both Tyrese Maxey and Kelly Oubre Jr. as questionable.
Philadelphia has listed Maxey as questionable due to a right finger tendon sprain and there is a chance he could return from a 10-game absence on Saturday.

On the other side, the Hornets have only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out forward Tidjane Salaun.
Charlotte has ruled out Salaun due to left calf strain as he will miss his 11th consecutive contest.
