The Philadelphia 76ers are at home on Wednesday night as they host the Chicago Bulls in an Eastern Conference matchup.
Philadelphia enters Wednesday’s game with a 39-33 record after losing at home to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night.
In Monday’s loss to the Thunder, V.J. Edgecombe led the way for the 76ers as he recorded 35 points, six rebounds and four assists while Trendon Watford added 14 points, six rebounds and four assists of his own off the bench.
Now Philadelphia will try to bounce back at home on Wednesday as they face off against a struggling Bulls team.
On the other side, Chicago enters Wednesday’s contest with a 29-42 record after defeating the Houston Rockets at home on Monday night.
Collin Sexton led the way for the Bulls in Monday’s victory as he ended the game with 25 points and four rebounds off the bench while Matas Buzelis recorded 23 points and four rebounds.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
For the Bulls, they have six players listed on their injury report, including both Anfernee Simons and Jaden Ivey.
Chicago has listed Simons as doubtful due to a left wrist fracture that has sidelined him since Feb. 22 and he is expected to miss Wednesday’s game, though it appears he may be nearing a return.

The Bulls have also listed Isaac Okoro as doubtful due to right patellofemoral pain syndrome while Guerschon Yabusele is doubtful with a left ankle sprain and both players are expected to miss Wednesday’s matchup.
Jaden Ivey has been ruled out due to left patellofemoral pain syndrome while Zach Collins and Noa Essengue are both set to miss the remainder of the season.
On the other side, the 76ers have four players listed on their injury report, though Paul George is not one of them.
Of course, George has been sidelined the last 25 games while serving a suspension for violating the NBA’s anti-drug policy but with his suspension now over, the veteran forward will return for the 76ers on Wednesday.
