
The Utah Jazz are on the road on Friday night as they travel to take on the Houston Rockets in a Western Conference matchup.
Utah enters Friday’s game with a 21-56 record after losing at home to the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night.
In Wednesday’s loss to the Nuggets, Brice Sensabaugh led the way for the Jazz as he recorded 28 points, six rebounds and four assists while Kyle Filipowski added 25 points, 12 rebounds and three assists of his own.
Now Utah will try to bounce back on Friday as they face off against the Rockets in a tough road matchup.
On the other side, Houston enters Friday’s contest with a 47-29 record after defeating the Milwaukee Bucks at home on Wednesday night.
Reed Sheppard led the way for the Rockets in Wednesday’s victory as he ended the game with 27 points, four rebounds and six assists while Alperen Sengun recorded 25 points, nine rebounds and four assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Friday night’s matchup, both squads may be without some of their key players due to injuries.
For the Jazz, they have seven players listed on their injury report, including both Lauri Markkanen and Keyonte George.
Utah has ruled out Markkanen due to a hip injury that has sidelined him since Feb. 26 and there is still not timetable for his return.

The Jazz have also ruled out George due to a hamstring injury as he will miss his 12th consecutive contest and there is no timetable for his return as well.
Isaiah Collier and Elijah Harkless have also been ruled out due to hamstring injuries while Jaren Jackson Jr ., Walker Kessler and Jusuf Nurkic are all set to miss the remainder of the season.
On the other side, the Rockets have two players listed on their injury report as they have ruled out both Fred VanVleet and Steven Adams.
Houston has ruled out VanVleet as he continues to recover from a torn ACL that he suffered during the offseason.
The Rockets have also ruled out Adams as he is set to miss the remainder of the season while recovering from ankle surgery.
