The Orlando Magic are on the road on Friday night as they travel to take on the Dallas Mavericks in an interconference matchup.
Orlando enters Friday’s game with a 40-36 record after losing at home to the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night.
In Wednesday’s loss to the Hawks, Wendell Carter Jr. led the way for the Magic as he recorded 14 points and six rebounds while Jamal Cain scored 17 points of his own off the bench.
Now Orlando will try to bounce back on the road on Friday as they face off against a struggling Mavericks team.
On the other side, Dallas enters Friday’s contest with a 24-52 record after losing on the road to the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night.
Cooper Flagg led the way for the Mavericks in Tuesday’s loss as he ended the game with 19 points, 10 rebounds and three assists while Brandon Williams recorded 18 points, two rebounds and two assists off the bench.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Friday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
For the Magic, they have only two players listed on their injury report as they have ruled out both Anthony Black and Jonathan Isaac.
Orlando has ruled out Black due to a left abdominal strain as he will miss his 15th consecutive contest.
#Magic guard Anthony Black (left lateral abdominal strain) and forward Jonathan Isaac (left knee sprain) remain OUT for Friday’s game at Dallas.

With Black still sidelined, Tristan da Silva and Jevon Carter could both continue to have increased roles until he is cleared to return.
The Magic have also ruled out Isaac due to a left knee sprain as he will miss his 12th straight game.
On the other side, the Mavericks have five players listed on their injury report, though Klay Thompson is not one of them.
Of course, Thompson missed Tuesday’s loss to the Bucks due to rest but he is off the injury report and will return against the Magic on Friday.
Dallas has listed P.J. Washington as doubtful due to an illness and he is expected to miss his third consecutive contest.
