
The Denver Nuggets are at home on Wednesday night as they host the Dallas Mavericks in a Western Conference matchup.
Denver enters Wednesday’s game with a 45-28 record after defeating the Phoenix Suns on the road on Tuesday night.
In Tuesday’s victory over the Suns, Nikola Jokic led the way for the Nuggets as he recorded a triple-double with 23 points, 17 rebounds and 17 assists while Jamal Murray added 21 points and six assists of his own.
Now Denver will try to grab another victory at home on Wednesday as they face off against a struggling Mavericks team.
On the other side, Dallas enters Wednesday’s contest with a 23-49 record after losing at home in overtime to the Golden State Warriors on Monday night.
Cooper Flagg led the way for the Mavericks in Monday’s loss as he ended the game with 32 points, four rebounds and nine assists while Daniel Gafford recorded 20 points, seven rebounds and five assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, both squads may be without some of their key players due to injuries.
For the Mavericks, they have five players listed on their injury report, including both Gafford and Caleb Martin.
Dallas has listed Gafford as questionable due to a right shoulder sprain that caused him to exit Monday’s game early.

If Gafford is sidelined, Marvin Bagley III, Moussa Cisse and Dwight Powell could all be in line for increased roles.
The Mavericks have also listed Brandon Williams as questionable due to him being in concussion protocol and he is in danger of missing his fourth straight game.
Martin has been ruled out due to a right plantar fascia sprain as he will miss his fifth consecutive contest while Kyrie Irving and Dereck Lively II are both out for the remainder of the season.
On the other side, the Nuggets have two players listed on their injury report as they have listed both Aaron Gordon and Peyton Watson as questionable.
Denver has listed Gordon as questionable due to right hamstring injury management and they may elect to sit him on the second night of their back-to-back.
If Gordon is sidelined, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Spencer Jones may both be in line for increased roles.
The Nuggets have also listed Watson as questionable due to right hamstring injury management and he is in danger of missing his second straight game.
