
The Dallas Mavericks are on the road on Wednesday night as they travel to take on the Phoenix Suns in a Western Conference matchup.
Dallas enters Wednesday’s game with a 25-54 record after losing on the road to the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday night.
In Tuesday’s loss to the Clippers, Coooper Flagg led the way for the Mavericks as he recorded 25 points and nine rebounds while Marvin Bagley III added 21 points and nine rebounds of his own off the bench.
Now Dallas will try to bounce back on Wednesday as they face off against the Suns in a tough road matchup.
On the other side, Phoenix enters Wednesday’s contest with a 43-36 record after losing at home to the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night.
Devin Booker led the way for the Suns in Tuesday’s loss as he ended the game with 31 points, four rebounds and eight assists while Mark Williams recorded 19 points and eight rebounds.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
For the Mavericks, they have eight players listed on their injury report, including both Flagg and Klay Thompson.
Dallas has listed Flagg as probable and he is expected to play despite dealing with a left wrist sprain.

The Mavericks have listed Thompson as doubtful due to rest and he is expected to miss his first game since March 31.
Daniel Gafford has also been listed as doubtful due to a right shoulder impingement and Naji Marshall is doubtful with a left hip contusion and both players are expected to miss Wednesday's game.
Caleb Martin (right plantar fascia strain) and P.J. Washington (left elbow sprain) are also doubtful and are expected to be sidelined against the Suns.
Kyrie Irving and Dereck Lively II have both been ruled out as they will miss the remainder of the season.
On the other side, the Suns have three players listed on their injury report, including both Mark Williams and Grayson Allen.
Phoenix has ruled out Williams due to left foot injury management as they will elect to sit him on the second night of their back-to-back.

With Williams sidelined, Oso Ighodaro and Khaman Maluach could both be in line for increased roles.
The Suns have also ruled out Haywood Highsmith as he will miss his 11th straight game due to right knee injury management.
Allen has been listed as questionable due to a right quad contusion and he is in danger of missing his first game since March 30.
