The Dallas Mavericks are on the road on Friday night as they travel to take on the Portland Trail Blazers in a Western Conference matchup.
Dallas enters Friday’s game with a 23-50 record after losing at home to the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night.
In Wednesday’s loss to the Nuggets, Cooper Flagg led the way for the Mavericks as he recorded 26 points, eight rebounds and seven assists while Naji Marhsall added 22 points, four rebounds and three assists of his own.
Now Dallas will try to bounce back on Friday as they face off against the Trail Blazers in a tough road matchup.
On the other side, Portland enters Friday’s contest with a 37-37 record after defeating the Milwaukee Bucks at home in dominant fashion on Wednesday night.
Scoot Henderson led the way for the Trail Blazers in Wednesday’s victory as he ended the game with 23 points, three rebounds and four assists off the bench while Deni Avdija recorded 18 points, four rebounds and seven assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Friday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
For the Mavericks, they have four players listed on their injury report, though Flagg is not one of them.
Of course, Flagg took a hard fall during the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s loss to the Nuggets but he is off the injury report and will play on Friday.
Despite last night’s hard fall, Cooper Flagg is not on the injury report, but Daniel Gafford remains out for tomorrow’s game in Portland.

Dallas has ruled out Daniel Gafford due to a right shoulder sprain as he will miss his second consecutive contest.
The Mavericks have also ruled out Caleb Martin as he continues to recover from a foot injury while Kyrie Irving and Dereck Lively II are both set to miss the remainder of the season.
On the other side, the Trail Blazers have four players listed on their injury report, including Robert Williams III.
Portland has listed Williams III as questionable due to left knee injury management and he is in danger of missing his first game since March 23.
