The Toronto Raptors are on the road on Friday night as they travel to take on the Memphis Grizzlies in an interconference matchup.
Toronto enters Friday’s game with a 42-34 record after losing at home to the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night.
In Wednesday’s loss to the Kings, RJ Barrett led the way for the Raptors as he recorded 20 points, five rebounds and six assists while Collin Murray-Boyles added 20 points and four rebounds of his own off the bench.
Now Toronto will try to bounce back on the road on Friday as they face off against a struggling Grizzlies team.
On the other side, Memphis enters Friday’s contest with a 25-51 record after losing at home to the New York Knicks on Wednesday night.
GG Jackson led the way for the Grizzlies in Wednesday’s loss as he ended the game with 20 points, three rebounds and four assists while Olivier-Maxence Prosper recorded 17 points and four rebounds.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Friday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
For the Raptors they have two players listed on their injury report, though Brandon Ingram is not one of them.
Of course, Ingram missed Wednesday’s loss to the Kings due to right heel injury management but he is off the injury report and will return on Friday against the Grizzlies.
Immanuel Quickley and Chucky Hepburn remain out for Raptors on Friday.
