
The Minnesota Timberwolves are on the road on Friday night as they travel to take on the Philadelphia 76ers in an interconference showdown.
Minnesota enters Friday’s game with a 46-30 record after losing on the road to the Detroit Pistons on Thursday night.
In Thursday’s loss to the Pistons, Julius Randle led the way for the Timberwolves as he recorded 27 points, six rebounds and six assists while Ayo Dosunmu added 19 points, five rebounds and four assists of his own.
Now Minnesota will try to bounce back on Friday as they face off against the 76ers in a tough road matchup.
On the other side, Philadelphia enters Friday’s contest with a 42-34 record after defeating the Washington Wizards on the road in dominant fashion on Wednesday night.
Paul George led the way for the 76ers in Wednesday’s victory as he ended the game with 39 points, five rebounds and six assists while V.J. Edgecombe recorded 33 points, three rebounds and 10 assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Friday night’s matchup, both squads may be without one of their star players.
For the Timberwolves, they have two players listed on their injury report for Friday's game in Philadelphia.
Minnesota has listed Anthony Edwards as questionable due to right knee patellofemoral pain syndrome and an illness and he is in danger of missing his second consecutive contest.

If Edwards is sidelined once again, Dosunmu, Bones Hyland and Mike Conley could all be in line for increased roles.
The Timberwolves have ruled out Jaden McDaniels due to left knee patella tendinopathy as he will miss his fourth straight game.
On the other side, the 76ers have only one player listed on their injury report as they have listed star center Joel Embiid as probable
Philadelphia has listed Embiid as probable due to an illness and he is expected to return after missing Wednesday's victory over the Wizards despite initially being listed as doubtful for Friday's game.
