Golden State enters Sunday’s game with a 36-38 record after defeating the Washington Wizards at home on Friday night.
In Friday’s victory over the Wizards, Kristaps Porzingis led the way for the Warriors as he recorded 28 points, eight rebounds and three assists while Gui Santos added 27 points, four rebounds and four assists of his own.
Now Golden State will try to grab another victory on Sunday as they face off against the Nuggets in a tough road matchup.
On the other side, Denver enters Sunday’s contest with a 47-28 record after defeating the Utah Jazz at home on Friday night.
Nikola Jokic led the way for the Nuggets in Friday’s victory as he ended the game with 33 points, 15 rebounds and 12 assists while Jamal Murray recorded 21 points, six rebounds and 14 assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Sunday night’s matchup, one side may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
For the Warriors, they have eight players listed on their injury report, including both Stephen Curry and Al Horford.
Golden State has ruled out Curry due to a lingering right knee injury that has kept him out since Feb. 3 and he is expected to miss the next two games before being re-evaluated later this week.
The Warriors have also ruled out Horford due to a right soleus strain that has sidelined him since March 15.
Seth Curry has also been ruled out due to an adductor strain while Jimmy Butler and Moses Moody are both set to miss the remainder of the season.
Quinten Post has been listed as questionable due to a right foot soreness and there is a chance he could return from a three-game absence on Sunday.
Will Richard has been listed as questionable due to a heel injury while Nate Williams is questionable with an illness.
On the other side, the Nuggets enters Sunday’s contest with a clean injury report as they have nobody listed on it.
This has been a rare sight for the Nuggets this season as they have had multiple key players miss time due to injuries, though they will have a fully healthy roster for Sunday’s matchup as they try to pick up a key victory at home.
Fans can catch Sunday night’s matchup between the Warriors and Nuggets from Denver at 10:00 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.
