While newly committed Missouri Tiger recruit Jason Crowe Jr. is part of the Class of 2026, he'll still find his way into Mizzou Arena in 2025 for December's Norm Stewart Classic, an annual high school basketball showcase.

Crowe's current team at Ingelwood High School out of California will be making the trek to Columbia and play Principia at 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 6. This is the last scheduled game of the event, but with the five-star prospect taking the court, it'll be the most highly anticipated tilt of the weekend.

Crowe ranks as Mizzou's second-highest recruit in program history, only behind current Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr. While initially a top pursuit for Kentucky, a story released by Joe Tipton with On3 on July 6th shared that the Tigers were more in the conversation for Crowe than expected.

On July 18, Crowe made it officially and committed to MU. He became the first Top 10 player on 247Sports and ESPN's 2026 player rankings to commit to a program. The 6'3 combo guard is ranked 6th in the nation on the former and 4th on the latter.

Crowe also joins his dad, who will reportedly be joining Mizzou’s staff, though the information on that hire has not yet been released.

Eyes will turn to Crowe come December as an opportunity for fans to see the potential future of Missouri Tigers basketball. The Norm Stewart Classic has been a staple in Columbia since 2007, with the goal for Missouri's former head coach to raise money for cancer research and highlight high school basketball.
