Former Celtics center Scot Pollard recovering after successful heart transplant surgery

Updating a previous report, we have some good news to report as former Boston Celtics center Scot Pollard found a donor and has received his heart transplant. Scot's wife Dawn, shared the good news last night.

Scot has a new heart! Surgery went well and I’ve been told the heart is big, powerful and is a perfect fit! Now on to the crucial part of recovery. Thank you to everyone for the continued prayers and support, but most of all, deepest thanks to the donor, our hero. @ScotPollard31

Pollard had an eleven year NBA career with his final season being as a member of the 2007-2008 NBA Champion Boston Celtics.
