Former Celtics guard Dennis Schröder leads Germany to EuroBasket championship in 88 to 83 win over Turkey

Former Boston Celtics point guard Dennis Schröder scored 16 points and dished out 12 assists to help lead Germany to a 88 to 83 Eurobasket championship win today in the gold medal game at the European championship. Schröder actually scored the final six points of the game. Another former Celtic, Daniel Theis, was also apart of the winning team, while yet another in Shane Larkin finished with 13 points, 9 assists, and 6 rebounds in a losing effort for Turkey who end up with the silver medal.

Giannis and Greece won the bronze medal game over Finland earlier in the day.
