The Los Angeles Clippers are expected to be active on the trade market during the NBA's 2025 offseason.
They out-performed expectations this past season on their way to a 50-win year and could try to make a big move to push themselves into contention.
Chicago Bulls point guard Lonzo Ball recently predicted just such a move for the Clippers and it involved his brother.
Ball predicted that Hornets guard LaMelo Ball would be traded to the Clippers this offseason in a blockbuster move.
Now a former star for the Clippers has revealed that he agrees with Ball about the potential blockbuster deal.
During a recent episode of FanDuel TV's "Run It Back" (via APH00PS), former Clippers guard Lou Williams revealed that he believes he Clippers will make a deal with the Hornets for Ball this offseason.
Lou Williams believes that the LA Clippers will make a move to acquire LaMelo Ball:

Ball would give the Clippers something they really need this offseason. He would give them another dependable scorer.
He averaged 25.2 points per game this past season. Meanwhile, the Clippers finished the year 20th in scoring.
Ball just comes with one very big concern. He hasn't been able to stay on the court throughout his career.
He has missed at least 30 games in four of his five NBA seasons.
With a contract that pays an average of just over $40 million per year and whatever it would cost the Clippers to get a deal done, Ball's injury history could be a major deterrent.
If they are willing to look past the injuries, Ball would give them another star to lean on for a playoff run and another scorer they can turn to when they need a bucket.
Pairing him with James Harden would give the Clippers a very talented backcourt, especially on the offensive end of the floor.
They would just really need to hope he can stay on the court if they make a move for Ball.
