A Detroit Pistons employee is battling the coronavirus and in the thoughts of many in the basketball community.
Eastern Tennessee State basketball coach Steve Forbes shared on Wednesday night that Pistons scout Maury Hanks is “fighting” the virus and needs some thoughts and prayers.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski noted that many are pulling for Hanks.

Prior to the Pistons, Hanks worked for the Nets and Raptors. He had college stops at San Diego State and Drake, among others.
