Former ESPN Host Michelle Beadle Doesn't Hold Back On Stephen A. Smith

ESPN's Stephen A. Smith has been dominating the headlines of late due to his feud with LeBron James.

Although this beef really started on March 6, things escalated this week when Smith said he would've swung at James had he put his hands on him. The four-time MVP responded by sharing videos of the First Take analyst working on his boxing skills. That didn't sit well with Smith, who made some unwarranted comments on Thursday.

"I never brought up really and never really discussed why you were not at Kobe Bryant’s memorial service," Smith said. "I never really brought up or discussed why you did not attend Dwyane Wade’s Hall Of Fame induction when that man was directly responsible for you capturing a championship for the first time in your career."

During the latest edition of FanDuel TV's Run It Back, former ESPN host Michelle Beadle offered her thoughts on this feud. She called out Smith for saying he would've gotten physical with James.

"First of all, this feels like a WWE situation. It’s Pat McAfee, who is now one of the faces of the WWE, he is hosting this. LeBron James goes on there for over an hour. On the very network where the dude he confronted in public also is the highest-paid guy on the network," Beadle said, via Awful Announcing. "All of it feels fake to me. Within five minutes of this becoming public, Stephen A. Smith is now putting out videos. I will say this, LeBron calling Stephen A.’s situation basically another Taylor Swift tour. Chef’s kiss, he is. That video is the greatest thing that has ever happened to Stephen A. because he has milked it on every network and outlet and continues to talk about.

"When you start talking about how you were going to get physical. Bro, we’ve all seen the boxing video. Don’t say stuff like that. It’s bad, it’s not a good look. LeBron had a couple of zingers on that as well. What you are asking me to do right now, Chandler, is choose between two people I do not want to choose between. So I kind of feel like we have entered a really weird realm."

Beadle then criticized James for taking shots at ESPN insider Brian Windhorst during his time on The Pat McAfee Show.

"But when you go after Brian Windhorst, who has been covering him since he was a kid. I didn’t really get it. It felt unprovoked, unnecessary, a bit bullying, I guess, if you will," Beadle continued. "And you see quickly how much Brian Windhorst is loved in this industry. I’ve seen everyone, from guys on NBA Radio to Amin Elhassan. Everyone is picking up for Windy. Because why are we picking on Brian Windhorst?"

It's pretty clear that Beadle doesn't view either party as innocent in this heated rivalry.
