Lin played for the Toronto Raptors in as the team captured the 2019 NBA championship team. Although, Lin only averaged 3.4 minutes over eight games during the playoffs. He never played in the NBA again after that season, as he spent the final six years of his career playing in the Chinese Basketball Association and the Taiwanese Plus League before announcing his retirement.

Lin made a name for himself in the early part of his career with the New York Knick earning the nickname  “Linsanity.” He was inserted in New York’s starting lineup in February of 2012 which sparked a seven-game win streak. During that run, Lin averaged 24.4 points and 9.1 assists which included and iconic performance where he outscored Kobe Bryant with 38 points in a win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Lin also hit a buzzer-beating game-winner against the Raptors during his legendary run.

From there Lin earned a three-year, $25 million deal with the Houston Rockets. Overall, his career averaged were 11.6 points, 4.3 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals.

Lin played for the Golden State Warriors, Charlotte Hornets, Brooklyn Nets, Atlanta Hawks, Rockets, Lakers, Knicks and Raptors during his nine-year NBA career..

ESPN Predicts Disappointing Season For Raptors

ESPN’s NBA insiders don’t think the Raptors will fare well this season. They recently put out their Eastern Conference standings predictions and they have the Raptors finishing in the lottery with a 33-49 record.
