Just like money, players come and go in the NBA. Player movement is frequent in the league today. Rather it’s a mutual decision, a decision made by the player or front office, or even something a fan of the team is with or against, deals will get done all season long. Thomas Bryant spent some time with the Washington Wizards. He was surely a serviceable center who the Wizards used in various ways.

The Wizards decided to move on from Thomas Bryant as he signed with the LA Lakers and was then moved to the Denver Nuggets winning a championship with the team. Now, he is in Miami with the Heat and got a chance to get some revenge against him former team. Thomas Bryant finished with 11 points, four rebounds, and one block on five of seven shooting from the field. Bryant did all of that in just 18 minutes off the bench.

Thomas Bryant sure did pick a great time and had a great opportunity to get some revenge against his former team since last night was the first ever In Season NBA Tournament. Do the Wizards miss Thomas Bryant? Should they have stuck with him a little bit longer?

While we love Daniel Gafford, you have to wonder is Gafford alone enough for the Washington Wizards. He’s a tough player who brings it every night on the defensive end. However, he isn’t much of a scorer and the Wizards look like they could use some front court help. Time will tell what the Wizards decide to do to fill the void of backup center. I’m sure the Wizards were reminiscing all of the great moments they had with Thomas Bryant as he played well against them.
