Four teams reportedly interested in adding this six-time All-Star
Blake Griffin Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

Blake Griffin is no longer the superstar he was early in his career, but he still has his fair share of admirers around the NBA.

As things presently stand, Griffin is one of the bigger names without a home ahead of the 2023-24 NBA season.

Last year, he averaged 4.1 points per game on 48.5 percent shooting from the field and 35 percent shooting from beyond the arc in 14 minutes of action per outing for the Boston Celtics.

Clearly the 34-year-old’s career is winding down, but he can still offer a few good minutes in short bursts to the right team.

According to NBA insider Sam Amico, four teams currently have interest in Griffin:

It is believed the 76ers and Warriors are among some of the other teams interested in Griffin, as may be the Clippers, the team with which Griffin’s career began. He has been an All-Star five times, the last coming with the Pistons during the 2018-19 season.

Amico also noted that Boston still had interest in bringing Griffin back, which the Celtics have been quite open about.

The Sixers are obviously in a state of flux right now. How the James Harden situation plays out will ultimately dictate what moves they make along the periphery.

Golden State, Los Angeles and Boston are in a pretty stable place, though.

It really wouldn’t be all that shocking to see Griffin end up with any of those three.

Obviously Griffin’s relationship with the Clippers didn’t end on the best of terms, but a lot of time has passed since. It’s hard to see that being a legitimate roadblock.

Where will Griffin ultimately end up playing when everything is said and done this summer? Time will tell.
