The Oklahoma City Thunder responded just as you'd want a championship-caliber team to respond when they defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves after being crushed by 42 points in the previous game.
They were led by their superstar and MVP winner, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Gilgeous-Alexander was masterful, scoring 40 points and finishing just one rebound shy of a triple-double.
Things aren't going nearly as well for the superstar on the opposing side, Anthony Edwards.
Edwards has had quite the up-and-down series to this point.
He scored 18 points on 5-for-13 shooting in Game 1, but followed up with back-to-back 30-point performances. In Game 4, Edwards looked more like the player we saw in Game 1, scoring 16 points on 5-for-13 shooting.
The Ringer's Ryen Russillo wasn't impressed with Edwards's effort or his response to the media, stating he was making the right basketball plays and denying he was struggling.
"I was way more disappointed in Ant in the second half. Dejected at times. Disinterested at times," Russillo said. "You want to have a bad shooting night, fine. But he just wasn't aggressive enough because I think he was so frustrated with what was happening.
"There's too much of the stuff where it's like 'oh, I tried to make a cut and they shut me off.' That is something that is not acceptable. You want to make the right play and not shoot a ton in the first half, I'm totally fine with that. His frustration leaked into all of the other parts of his game."
Anthony Edwards gets way too much respect for how consistently average he is most games.

The answer isn't forcing shots. We've seen this with superstars over the years, where the opposing defense treats them vastly differently than anything they've seen in the regular season.
There’s not a world where Anthony Edwards should have 0 shot attempts with 4 minutes left in the first

If the Timberwolves are going to climb back into the series, it will need to start with Edwards in Game 5.
