Giannis Antetokounmpo Headlines 'Dream' Trade List for OKC Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder punched their ticket to the NBA Finals on Wednesday night as eliminated the Minnesota Timberwolves in five games in dominant fashion.

This is the Thunder’s first NBA Finals berth since 2012 and they are looking to win their first championship since the franchise relocated to Oklahoma City.

Of course, NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has led the way for the Thunder all season and the rest of their roster has also came up huge, especially their other stars in Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams.

Oklahoma City has done an incredible job building through the draft thanks to general manager Sam Presti and they still have a ton of tradeable assets that could see them make a major move for another superstar this offseason.

With that in mind, Bleacher Report’s Greg Swartz recently made a list of the Thunder’s top three dream offseason trade targets.

Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo headlined the list along with Zion Williamson of the New Orleans Pelicans and Domantas Sabonis of the Sacramento Kings.

Of course, Giannis is the headliner entering the offseason as many believe that his time in Milwaukee is set to come to an end and while the Thunder have not expressed a ton of interest in him, they would be able to outbid any other team for him.

A new superstar duo of Shai and Giannis could turn the Thunder into a dynasty, especially if they are able to win the title this season.

If the Thunder do not want to give up what Milwaukee is asking for, they could instead settle for Zion from the Pelicans but it would be a major risk due to his injury history.

For Sabonis, he already has experience playing in Oklahoma City and he would upgrade their frontcourt next to Holmgren if they are able to work a deal with Sacramento that does not include moving on from their young center.

While all three players could be a good fit in Oklahoma City, with how Presti has ran things thus far they may instead look to keep their current core together in the offseason.
