Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo did not hesitate to reveal his thoughts in a social media post about his former co-star. Antetokounmpo has a lot of free time after the Bucks were eliminated in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs. With that time, he spends most of it answering fan questions and responding to various posts on X.

On Monday, there was a post about his former teammate, Khris Middleton. During the 2024-25 NBA season, the Bucks made the move and  dealt the three-time All-Star to the Washington Wizards for Kyle Kuzma. This ended his 12-year stay in Milwaukee, where he emerged as a star and helped the city with the 2021 championship.

On X, there was a true or false post about whether the Bucks should retire Middleton's No. 22 jersey. Antetokounmpo did not hesitate to give his thoughts on the question and leaned towards the option that the organization should retire his former teammate's number.

"1000% " the Bucks star posted.

Antetokounmpo and Middleton formed a close bond through the 11 seasons they were teammates. Both forwards became household names for the organization and consistently led the Bucks to title contention.

During the early parts of his career in Milwaukee, Middleton was a constant presence on the roster. He had two seasons where he played 82 games, both were before he was considered an All-Star.

However, injuries took over his body, preventing him from being available for the franchise. In his final three seasons, the former star player was limited to 111 games.

Still, Bucks fans won't forget the contributions he made to the team and how he helped bring significance to the organization. When he decides to retire, the Milwaukee franchise should honor him by retiring his number.
