Giannis Antetokounmpo isn't shy to call out his Milwaukee Bucks teammate, Bobby Portis Jr., on social media. Portis recently commented on what Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards told the media following their playoff elimination on Wednesday.
The Wolves' season came to an end in Game 5 of the Western Conference finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder. During his postgame interview, Edwards was asked about the pressure he's feeling after a second-straight elimination in the third round.
According to the three-time All-Star, he doesn't feel the pressure and is confident that he can return to the conference finals since he's only 23. Edwards said the Wolves still have the potential with him and his group to try again next year. However, he explained that he wasn't happy that he came up short for his veteran teammate, Mike Conley.
On Thursday's episode of FanDuel TV's "Run It Back," Portis appeared as a guest and had something to say about Edwards' comments.
"What Ant-Man said last night about him being 23 on the runs, I didn't really agree with it," Portis said.
"I didn't really agree with that comment, because being a player in the league, it's not easy just getting back to the Western Conference finals, Eastern Conference finals. We won a championship, and we ain't been ... we've been out the first round one time since then."

Anything Edwards is one of Bobby Portis’ favorite NBA players, but that doesn’t stop Bobby from calling it how he sees it ️ pic.twitter.com/iHxhMd4mEe
On Instagram, Antetokounmpo responded to Portis in the comments section. He told his teammate to ease up on the young star.
"Let him breathe BP!! Remember what we used to do when we were 23 years old" Antetokounmpo commented.
Portis' point remains valid regarding the league's competitiveness. The Bucks won in 2021 but have struggled to be a title contender since then. Despite having one of the best players in Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee has not been a top team for three straight years.
