The summer started with uncertainty around Giannis Antetokounmpo and his Milwaukee future. In July, IShowSpeed asked the two-time MVP directly if he expects to remain with the Bucks for the 2025-26 season. He answered in pure diplomatic fashion. “Probably. Probably, we’ll see, probably, I love Milwaukee.” While that might sound like assurance to some, others would focus on the door left open. Eventually, it seems Giannis is set to join the Bucks camp, but the latest incident with owner Wes Edens doesn’t help the rumour mill.
Edens recently spoke on Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future, saying , “I had a great conversation with Giannis in June, and he made it clear that he is committed to Milwaukee and he likes having his family here.” But Giannis quickly pushed back, claiming he couldn’t recall such a meeting, while clarifying his stance, “I believe in my teammates, I believe in the people around me, and I believe in the moves the organization makes.”
