Giannis, Bucks dominate Bulls in Game 5, 116-100, to win series 4-1

The No.3 Milwaukee Bucks defeated No. 6 Chicago Bulls, 116-100, in Game 5 Wednesday night, winning the best of seven first-round playoff series 4-1.

The Bucks jumped out to an early double-digit in the first quarter and took an 18-point lead, 60-42, into the halftime break. Milwaukee sealed the deal against Chicago in the second half, increasing its lead to as large as 23 points, en route to the win and a trip to the second round of the playoffs.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led all scorers with 33 points, adding nine rebounds and three assists. He shot 73% (11-for-15) from the field and 78% (11-for-14) from the free-throw line.

Pat Connaughton came off the bench for the Bucs scoring 20 points, shooting 63% (7-for-11) from the field and 66% (6-for-9) from three.

Bobby Portis had 14 points, shooting 46% (6-for-13) from the field while adding 17 rebounds.

The Bulls struggled without guards Zach LaVine and Alex Caruso, held to just 42% shooting on Wednesday night. Forward Patrick Williams led the Bulls with 23 points, while Nik Vucevic finished with 19 points and 16 rebounds.

The Bucks now advance to the second round of the NBA playoffs, where they'll match up against the No. 2 Boston Celtics. On Monday, the Celtics completed a four-game sweep of the No. 7 Brooklyn Nets
