Gilbert Arenas has made a case for LeBron James and Dwyane Wade as the greatest duo in NBA history, placing them above incredible tandems that history during NBA history. The former Washington Wizards star explained why the legendary Miami Heat duo was something else compared to current and old ones.

Not so long ago, Tracy McGrady named Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving the most talented teammates in NBA history, with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade agreeing to that. Well, not everybody is convinced that's the case, at least not when we take into account every aspect of the game.

Arenas recently sat down with VladTV to discuss a series of topics, and this one was brought up. The former guard said that talking about offensive talents, there's no doubt that Durant and Irving are superior, but pondering every aspect, there's no competition for James and Wade:

"I would disagree because if we're talking about offensively skill dribbling skill then yeah but defense and jumping ability is a skill too. Dwyane Wade and LeBron, you know, the way they played the passing lanes, jump, block shots, played defense, I mean their skill level on just the game itself was very high."

"Yes, Kyrie and Kevin Durant are offensively juggernauts. They might not be, like, Dwyane Wade wasn't this amazing dribbler, slasher, dunker, blocker. You look at his creativity, once he got in the air you, got LeBron jumping over people, I mean, the things that they did like that's skill."

Arenas went further to say that the LeBron-Wade tandem was better than Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.

"So, it's hard because if you're just looking at the one dimension of just dribbling and creating your own shot then yeah but when you're talking about overall, I would say LeBron and Dwyane Wade are in front of Pippen and Jordan."

This topic has sparked huge debates around the league recently. NBA fans argued about this earlier this week and it doesn't seem like the discussions will end anytime soon. Everybody has an opinion on this, and whenever we see Michael Jordan and LeBron James in a conversation, you know it's a hot one.
