Golden State Warriors news: LeBron James has already expressed how delighted he is with the fact that he will now be playing with his son, Bronny, this coming season. This is after the Los Angeles Lakers used their No. 55 overall pick to scoop up the USC guard in the 2024 NBA Draft.
Warriors veteran Chris Paul has now shared his reaction to this massive development as he congratulated his godson for this momentous achievement.
For those that require context, Paul goes way back with LeBron, with the two forming a deep friendship during their time together in the NBA. So much so, that James gave CP3 the honor of being the godfather of the former’s eldest son.
This explains why Paul was also extremely proud to hear Bronny get his name called as an NBA draftee:
Special!! Congrats, Bronny! https://t.co/C5dsQ2ZUZT

As the Warriors guard said in his tweet, LeBron and Bronny becoming the first-ever father-and-son duo in the history of the NBA is indeed special.
At the moment, there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding Paul’s future with the Warriors as the 12-time All-Star has been linked to a potential move away from the Bay Area this summer. Who knows, perhaps CP3 somehow finds himself on the Lakers roster somewhere down the road to play alongside LeBron and Bronny.
At this point, you can’t really discount anything in the NBA — especially when it comes to things involving the great LeBron James.
